Masi Carbon Customization: Color, Weight and Configuration
Masi Carbon cue customization options: color palette, weight adjustment, extension, butt-shaft combinations and personal engraving.
Every player is different—and your cue should be as unique as you are. With the Masi Carbon customization program you can create a cue that reflects your color, weight and configuration preferences. This guide details all pre-order options.
Pre-Order Options: Where to Start?
The Masi Carbon order process begins with basic model selection. After choosing one of the standard series models, you proceed to customization steps. Color, weight and extension options are specified on the order form. Plan extra time (approximately 1-2 weeks) for custom engraving or name addition. All selections are presented for your approval before production.
Color Palette and Finish Options
The Masi Carbon color palette ranges from classic black and navy to vibrant red and blue tones. Matte finish is less glossy, reduces light reflection—ideal for those who don't want distractions at the table. Gloss finish offers traditional shiny appearance, easy to clean. Carbon weave visibility is also selectable: fully covered (solid) or slight carbon texture visible. Custom color requests are evaluated; minimum order quantity may be required.

Weight Adjustment and Balance
Masi Carbon cue weight can typically be adjusted in the 17-19 oz range. Adjustment is made with ±0.5 oz precision via the weight system inside the butt. Heavier cue provides more momentum; preferred for break and power shots. Lighter cue is suitable for fast stroke and finesse play. Balance point can also be customized—forward balance offers more power, rear balance offers more control.
Extension Selection and Length
Extension can lengthen your cue by 2-6 inches. Necessary for reach shots and long tables. Masi Carbon extensions use the same joint system as the main cue—easy attach/detach. 3 inch standard, 6 inch recommended for long tables. Extension weight affects overall balance; recommended to specify in order. Short extension option for jump cue mode is also available.
Butt and Shaft Combinations
Different shaft stiffnesses (soft, medium, stiff) offer different stroke character. Soft shaft more flex, "softer" feel; stiff shaft low deflection, direct energy transfer. Masi Carbon butts are generally compatible with multiple shaft types. Second shaft order (break cue, jump cue) can be added. Butt design (wrap, no-wrap, rubber grip) is also selectable.
Personal Engraving and Name Addition
Name, initials or short message can be added as engraving. Engraving is typically applied on the lower part of the butt or near the joint. Font options are limited; legibility is priority. Engraving requires extra time and fee. Special marks like team/country code for tournament players are also possible. Masi Carbon ensures each engraving is unique and permanent.
