Equipment List for Professional Billiards
Cue, case, chalk and auxiliary equipment recommendations for tournament and serious play.
Choosing the right equipment is important for playing billiards at a professional or semi-professional level. This list covers the basics.
Cue
Main playing cue (break-down or one-piece), break cue (optional) and jump cue (optional). A main cue with a carbon fiber shaft provides consistency in the long run.
Case or Sleeve
At least 2–3 compartment protective case or hard sleeve. Safe storage is essential for long trips and air travel.
Chalk and Glove
Quality chalk reduces miscues; a glove keeps the shaft clean and improves grip. Preference is personal but we recommend trying them.
Extras
Tip pick, tip file, microfiber cloth and spare shaft if needed. You can find many options in the Masi Carbon accessories category.
